Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 12, 2026
We want everyone to be able to find, read, and cook our recipes, including people who use assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That’s an ongoing goal rather than a certified result. We haven’t had an independent accessibility audit.
What we’ve done
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate each page.
- Full keyboard support, a “Skip to main content” link, and visible focus indicators.
- Text and background colors chosen for sufficient contrast.
- Text descriptions for meaningful images.
- Announcements when the serving calculator updates ingredient amounts.
- Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
- Layouts that work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.
Known limitations
- Some recipes currently use placeholder images instead of photographs of the finished dish.
Report a problem
If something on this site is difficult to use, please email us and tell us which page and what went wrong. We’ll do our best to fix it and, in the meantime, provide the information in another format.
